landfall

i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

I came home last Wednesday night to the best thing possible: four long letters from Kris in my Inbox! Forty-five days after leaving Darwin, he was in Pemba, Mozambique.

My heart is singing, morning and night.

  1. I am happy for you that he has landed. It cannot be easy having the unknown setting up residence in your brain until you hear from him… hurray for him that he made it! What an exciting life!

  2. i remember when my parents were sailing around the world. It was like holding a long breath waiting for news of their landing. I’m glad Kris is safe and you are able to breathe again.
