Confessions of a lapsed Methodist

A very short and awkward conversation, sitting in the park, with a co-worker after work:

S: What do you miss most about high school?

Me: Crystal meth.

Find myself thinking a lot about stuff from 20 years ago. It’s crazy, sometimes, I don’t recognize my old self.

Today’s weird-ass mood is brought to you by The White Stripes. I’m not the fan-girl type, but Jack White really stirs my soup, for some reason.

I love that expression it made me giggle! I’m enjoying your blog thus far and always enjoy a good Jack White throwback so thought I should chime in šŸ˜€ His new stuff is also great but I remember hearing Seven Nation Army on the radio late on high school nights ::sigh:: “Back and forth through my mind, behind a cigarette…”

    1. Yeah, that line, absolutely, along with “And if I catch you coming back this way I’m gonna sell it to you, and that ain’t what you want to hear, but that’s what I’ll do.” The “stirs my soup” expression is from The Minotaur Takes A Cigarette Break.
