“He was tall, red-haired and freckled, with the sort of body that seems to be only marginally under its owner’s control; it appeared to have been built out of knees.” —from Mort, by Terry Pratchett

  1. I love Terry Pratchett. I have infected numerous people with my love of his books. My favorite character is Vimes. My father’s favorite is Death, followed by Susan. Reading Pratchett is my surefire way of cheering myself up when I’ve had a bad day.

    1. Ah, I love Death, too, though I feel so much affection for Granny Weatherwax. My favorite character/s are the Nac Mac Feegle. I adore those guys.

“I thought it very strange, and very sad, that the fairy kingdom largely appears to be English. I thought it was time for some regional representation. And the Nac Mac Feegle are, well, they’re like tiny little Scottish Smurfs who have seen Braveheart altogether too many times.” ~Terry Pratchett

  2. Yess! someone else who adores Pratchett. The books with Death as a semi main character just ends up being more entertaining to me.
